E- Light - (Electro-optical Synergy)
E-light (IPL+RF) combines three advanced technologies:
First the IPL (intense pulse light) energy is used to preheat the target area which creates a thermal path for the RF (radio frequency) energy to travel. Then the electromagnetic energy RF
is delivered directly to the hair follicle or targeted vascular and pigmented lesions.
Areas of the body that are often treated are face, chest & back of hands, where all are exposure on a daily basis to sun light and environmental damage.
Skin rejuvenation using E-light is rapidly becoming recognised as a fast, safe and highly effective method of reducing unwanted pigmentation and improving the tone of the skin without suffering painful side effects.
This treatment is highly effective and the client can return to normal day to day activities immediately following the treatment.
How many sessions are necessary?
Generally, sun damage can be resolved in just a few visits whilst vascular lesions and wrinkle reduction show significant results following up to six applications.
How does IPL Skin Rejuvenation Treatment Work?
IPL/RF treatment works by directing well-controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by two of the body’s own natural chemicals – melanin in the pigmented areas and haemoglobin in the red blood. Both these pigments convert the light energy into heat. This heat is used to destroy the parts of the cells in which the melanin is stored, and to damage the walls of the vessels supplying blood to the areas where vascular damage is seen. This technique has the name “Selective Photo thermolysis”. The visible light is carefully controlled to produce the correct pulse length and right amount of energy to destroy the targets without damaging surrounding tissues.
The E-light IPL system helps to regenerate new collagen and elastin, enhance skin elasticity and firmness, diminish fine lines and wrinkles, minimise large pores and whiten all skin types. This process will reveal a naturally younger appearance with clearer and more even complexion without any facial alterations.

How does the IPL Work on Acne?
IPL/RF treatment works by directing well-controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by the body’s own natural chemical – haemoglobin – in the blood vessels that feed the sebaceous glands. IPL treatment works by reducing the blood supply to the sebaceous gland, which slows down production of the body oil sebum. The haemoglobin converts the light energy into heat, which damages the walls of the vessels supplying blood to the glands. This technique has the name “Selective Photo thermolysis”. The visible light produced by IPL systems is carefully controlled to produce the correct pulse length and right amount of energy to penetrate through the tissue and destroy acne bacteria quickly and easily without damaging the surrounding tissue.
E-Light can effectively clear mild to moderate inflammatory acne and dramatically improve the overlook of your skin.
Typically, just 6 treatments over a two month period will greatly improve the appearance of skin as well as even out skin tone and improve acne scaring.
Medication can help to reduce acne, but an IPL/RF procedure in combination with prescription medication has been clinically proven to accelerate the healing process for acne.
The treatment includes deep skin cleansing and our signature therapy for a better results.
Vascular Therapy
Pigmentation
After treatment you may experience slight redness but don’t worry this will clear very quickly. The results are fantastic, so we recommend anyone to come along for a consultation where all your questions can be answered and a clear suitable treatment plan will be given.
Sun-damaged skin
Using a combination of IPL and RF as described above, hair loss can be seen even after the very first session. The treatment acts on the hairs that are currently in the growth phase, which will typically fall out in the days to weeks following treatment. Other hairs not in the growth stage continue to grow normally, but will be affected on subsequent sessions. Eventually, after a small number of treatments, there will be no more visible hairs remaining.
An important advantage that E-LIGHT hair removal technology has over traditional laser is that it is the only method that is effective for blond, brown and dark hair. All skin types work as well: white, dark, mature or sensitive.
How many session are necessary?
However, it is generally accepted that an average of eight to ten sessions are usually sufficient to get the desired results.
